Highway 21 twinning improves safety for motorists

The new twinned lanes of Highway 21 east of Sherwood Park are set to open to traffic in stages starting on Saturday, December 5 weather permitting.  The twinning project will reduce traffic congestion and improve safety for motorists.
“Having a well-designed transportation system is fundamental to supporting Alberta’s economy,” said Luke Ouellette, Minister of Transportation. “This project is an excellent example of government’s ongoing commitment to invest in road infrastructure to meet Alberta’s growing economy and population.”
