Description:
Components of the superstructure will be prefabricated at the job site and transported to the powerhouse site for assembly. Also, part of construction is a new drinking water plant in Waskaganish, which will meet the community’s needs until 2025. Transmission is also being developed: Two 315-kilovolt (kV) lines will be built between Eastmain-1 and Eastmain-1-A, and between Sarcelle and Eastmain-1.
