Hastings Highlands residents have a new recreational centre and an upgraded sports field thanks to a partnership between the governments of Canada and Ontario and the municipality. Daryl Kramp, Member of Parliament for Prince Edward-Hastings; the Honourable Leona Dombrowsky, Member of Provincial Parliament for Prince Edward-Hastings; and his Worship Ronald J. Emond, Mayor of Hasting Highlands, celebrated the official opening of the Hastings Highlands Recreational and Cultural Facility and of the Maynooth Sports Field. At the same time, the dignitaries highlighted construction on Musclow Greenview and Peterson roads.
