Description:
Over the past five years, SAIT has had to turn away an average of 4,000 qualified applicants each autumn due to capacity issues. Once complete, the new complex is expected to allow for 8,100 more apprenticeship and full-time students each year for hands-on, career-oriented training. The Province of Alberta is contributing $300 million to the project; SAIT is hoping to raise the remainder through philanthropic partnerships.
