Motorists may expect delays at the Glenmore Trail-84 Street SE intersection to accommodate a new detour.
Motorists are advised that on Aug. 21, the current intersection of Highway 63 northbound and southbound lanes and Silin Forest Road will change significantly. This permanent change will make Silin Forest Road an intersection with Highway 63 southbound lanes only, with only right turns permitted at this intersection. This will allow construction of the next phase of Highway 63 and conforms to the permanent design of that highway.
Motorists should use caution in the area and obey all signs and flag people. Motorists are reminded that fines for speeding are doubled through construction zones when workers are present.
