Motorists are advised that part of Higway 689, locally known as Dixonville Road, is temporarily closed.
High water has washed out part of the highway approach to the Beaton Creek Bridge, 18 kilometres west of Dixonville.
Motorists are advised that a temporary speed reduction has been issued for Highway 43, 10 kilometres east of the British Columbia border.
The speed limit has been reduced to 50 km/hour due to water flowing over the highway. Though the highway is open, there is still water flowing across the road surface and motorists are advised to use caution.
Motorists are advised that recent rains have impacted the scheduled opening of the Anthony Henday Drive-Lessard Road interchange in Edmonton.
The interchange was originally scheduled to open to traffic on July 15, but recent rainy weather has extended its completion. The new opening date is projected to be in late July, weather permitting. Once opened, drivers will enjoy all-direction access to Anthony Henday Drive and Lessard Road. In the interim, motorists are advised to use Callingwood Road, 199 Street, and 184 Street as alternate access routes.
Motorists are advised that Highway 766 in the Eckville and Rimbey areas has reopened.
Motorists can expect lane reductions on Highway 21 south of Fort Saskatchewan.
Motorists are advised that the access closures to and from Stony Plain Road/100 Avenue and Anthony Henday Drive will be delayed until further notice.
The closures were to start on July 13 to accommodate construction of the Stony Plain Road interchange. Rainy weather has delayed the closures and the start of this phase of the project. Overall, the project is on schedule for completion by this fall.
Motorists are advised that two highways or either closed or being threatened with closure by flooding in the Eckville and Rimbey area.
Highway 766 from its junction with Highway 12 to its junction with Highway 53 west of Rimbey is closed until further notice.
Motorists can expect occasional short-term traffic disruptions on northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 63 north of the intersection of Highway 63 and Confederation Way in Fort McMurray for ongoing interchange construction.
Starting July 12, traffic will be detoured using temporary access lanes starting until further notice. Construction on the $77.4-million second phase of the Confederation Way and Thickwood Boulevard interchanges will be completed by fall 2012.

Motorists are advised that traffic has shifted to the right-hand side of the northbound Ogden Road flyover bridge to accommodate the bridge deck overlay project.
The left-hand side of the bridge will be closed to traffic while at least two narrower lanes (3.0 and 3.5-metre widths, respectively) will remain open at all times on the right-hand side. The closures accommodate a concrete overlay of the bridge deck. The bridge carries Deerfoot Trail over Ogden Road, the Western Irrigation District Canal, and the CP Rail tracks. The speed limit is reduced to 50 km/h through the construction zone. The Ogden Road bridge project will be completed by Aug. 5, weather permitting.
