Government of Canada Donates Marine Simulators to Newfoundland and Labrador – Transport Canada
OTTAWA — On behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, the Honourable Peter Penashue, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and President of the Queen’s Privy Council of Canada, today announced the Government of Canada has transferred two marine training simulators to the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, along with federal funding of $1,233,253 for the province to modernize the simulators.

OTTAWA — The Government of Canada today announced that an aviation safety agreement with the European Union came into force on July 26, 2011. The Government of Canada has been working closely with its European counterpart to ratify the Agreement on Civil Aviation Safety. The agreement will make reciprocal acceptance of aeronautical products and services easier, reducing costs for Canadian companies and increasing competitiveness.

The update reflects the evolution of services offered to travellers with a disability since the original Code was issued in 1998
