Transport Canada Suspends Missinippi Airways’ Air Operator Certificate – Transport Canada

WINNIPEG — Transport Canada has suspended Missinippi Airways’ Air Operator Certificate, effective July 15, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Without an Air Operator Certificate, a company cannot provide commercial air services in Canada.

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM — The Honourable Stockwell Day, President of the Treasury Board and Minister responsible for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, concluded a visit to Vietnam where he promoted the Asia-Pacific Gateway to an emerging Asian economy with growing trade ties to North American markets. He was joined by a Canadian business delegation including representatives from Canada’s major marine ports and terminals, railways and national logistics associations.
