Meikle Wind Energy Project completed

The 184-MW Meikle Wind Energy Project, located between Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd in British Columbia, has reached substantial completion.

According to an article from Clean Technology Business Review, the new wind facility, developed by Pattern Energy, now represents the largest of its kind in B.C.

The $456 million project, #88 on the 2017 Top100 Projects list, uses 61 wind turbines to create enough power for approximately 54,000 homes. The project has a 25-year power purchase agreement in place with BC Hydro.
