The southeast section of Calgary’s six-lane ring road stretches 25 km, has nine interchanges, one road flyover, two railway flyovers and 27 bridges. It is being constructed and operated as a public-private partnership, with SNC-Lavalin and Acciona S.A. responsible for its maintenance over 30 years.

Construction began in the spring of 2010 and is expected to finish by fall of 2013.
