Altalink is completing the project is a number of stages, which consist of individual substations and transmission line segments. A private company that owns much of the energy transmission network in southern and central Alberta, Altalink operates around the cities of Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.
