VICTORIA – This year the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure completed close to 400 projects and invested over $2 billion, putting more than 8,000 people to work and creating safer roads and communities.
Province Seeking Bids for Onshore Exploration

The province today, Dec. 22, issued a call for proposals from companies interested in exploring for oil and gas on three parcels of onshore land in northwestern Nova Scotia. A call for proposals is a preliminary step to identify industry interest to explore particular areas.

Construction is moving ahead smoothly on the Musée de Charlevoix and the new Laure-Conan Library, both located in La Malbaie. The Musée de Charlevoix can expect contributions of $481,000 from the government of Quebec and a maximum of $260,000 from the Government of Canada. The City will also receive $1,161,250 from the provincial government and a maximum of $1,166,000 from the federal government for the Laure-Conan Library project.
