Canada–Ontario Partnership To Revitalize Downtown Niagara Falls Streetscape

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO – Residents, businesses, and tourists of Niagara Falls will benefit from nearly $2.7 million in upgrades to the Queen Street streetscape, thanks to a contribution announced today by the Honourable Rob Nicholson P.C., Q.C., M.P. for Niagara Falls, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Mr. Kim Craitor, Member of Provincial Parliament for Niagara Falls, and His Worship Ted Salci, Mayor of Niagara Falls. The governments of Canada and Ontario will each invest up to $889,033 for the revitalization project through the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund. The City of Niagara Falls will fund the remaining project costs.


Canada-Ontario Invest In Morgan Firestone Arena

ANCASTER, ONTARIO - Residents in the Hamilton
region will benefit from federal and provincial infrastructure funding
to expand the Morgan Firestone Arena, thanks to a joint contribution
announced today by David Sweet, the Member of Parliament for
Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale, the Honourable Ted McMeekin,
Ontario’s Minister of Consumer Services and Member of Provincial
Parliament for Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale. , and His Worship
Fred Eisenberger, Mayor of the City of Hamilton. The governments of
Canada and Ontario, as well as the City of Hamilton, will each invest
up to $3.425 million in the project.


Oak Drive Overpass Closes to Traffic September 28

Detour Saturday on a portion of the Charlottetown Perimeter Highway

On Saturday, September 26, a section of the Charlottetown Perimeter Highway (CPH) between Mount Edward Road and Route 2 West, the Malpeque Road, will be closed to all traffic.
