The main work in the tunnel consists of carrying out major structural repairs, modernizing operating equipment, redeveloping service corridors, and adding fire protection. In 2023, the repair of the pavement of autoroute 25 southbound was carried out between the tunnel and rue Sherbrooke, in addition to structural repairs on the Souligny interchange. The repair of the pavement of autoroute 25 northbound began in 2023 and will continue in 2024.
