Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Dwight Ball has released the report on the Muskrat Falls Inquiry from Justice Richard D. LeBlanc, Commissioner.
“I would like to thank Justice LeBlanc and everyone who participated in the inquiry, for their commitment and dedication,” said Ball. “This is a large body of work that we will now take time to thoroughly analyze. While we can’t undo the past, we can consider all recommendations and learn from it. This will allow us to make informed decisions as we take actions to minimize the impact of this project on current Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and future generations.”
The $12.7-billion Muskrat Falls project has had a profound impact on ratepayers and the financial situation in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Muskrat Falls Inquiry was a comprehensive and detailed investigation that is of great importance to people in the province.
