Nighttime micro-surfacing work closes lanes on the QE2 between Leduc and Edmonton

Motorists can expect nighttime lane closures on northbound Queen Elizabeth II Highway between Leduc and Edmonton.

Micro-surfacing work begins Aug. 8 and will affect the highway’s northbound lanes between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on a nightly basis. During those hours, one lane will be closed and traffic will be controlled by lights, signage and flag people. At least two lanes will remain open at all times. The speed limit will be reduced to 80 km/h through the construction zone.
