The new Toronto Courthouse will amalgamate several Toronto courts located throughout the city. The building structure is complete, including 16 levels of cast-in place concrete and two levels of structural steel with metal deck. The building envelope is also nearing completion and will be air and watertight by the end of the summer. The curtainwall is complete on the East, South and West facade’s, including the cable-wall system at this atrium level, with architectural precast panels on the North facade and elevator core. Finishes are ongoing in the atrium, including the finishing of the concrete columns, which are over 20 meters tall, ceiling installation, and the installation of quartz paneling at the feature stair area.
