The Government of Canada is undertaking a comprehensive rehabilitation to modernize and conserve the West Memorial Building, built in 1958 as a tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in WWII and to honour Veterans’ legacies for years to come. The work will not only conserve this important tribute, but also make it more efficient, greener, safer and more accessible for occupants and visitors.
When completed, the West Memorial Building will host the occupants, visitors, and functions of the Supreme Court of Canada Building while it undergoes its own rehabilitation.
